‘Anonymous Saviors’ to depict Iran wildlife guardian angels

Kati Jahangiri begins directing ‘Anonymous Saviors’ on saving wildlife in Iran.

Iranian filmmaker Kathy Jahangiri has begun directing ‘Anonymous Saviors’, a documentary on saving the wildlife in Iran.

The documentary, also produced by Jahangiri, reviews different steps to save the wildlife, including catching the animals in danger, taking them to medical sites, the process of treatment and return to the nature.

The doc starts with trasferring an injured panther from Roudsar in northern Iran to the capital city of Tehran for a surgery.

Jahangiri has been quite active in making documentaries about nature and enviroment. Her ‘Hunter’ became a winner at the 9th edition of Iran’s Cinema verite in the environment section.

She has directed ‘Train of Path 60’ as well, a documentary waiting to go on screen in the Art and Experience Cinema Group.

The director is making ‘Anonymous Saviors’ in seven episodes while its filming is supposed to take about one year.
