'Imam Ali (AS)' series to leave ifilm Thursday

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the series ‘Imam Ali (AS)’ on Thursday.

The last part of the series, directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, will be aired on June 14, 2018 at 19:00 GMT.

'Imam Ali (AS)' is an Iranian epic series focusing on the life of the first Muslim Imam. The series features events which came in before the caliphate of Imam Ali (AS) to his martyrdom in Kufa, Iraq.

The series cast list includes Daryoush Arjmand, Vishka Asayesh, Sirous Gorjestani, Ali-Asghar Hemmat, Parviz Parastoui, Behzad Farahani, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Mehdi Fathi, Akbar Abdi, Fakhri Khorvash, Davoud Rashidi, Saeed Nikpour, Enayat Bakhshi, Azita Hajian, Shohreh Lorestani, Jamshid Mashayekhi and late Hossein Panahi.

‘Imam Ali (AS)’, produced in 1996, will be replaced by the series ‘House of Outsiders’ directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi.
