Iran film ‘Wake up, Arezou’ goes for home release

Iranian film ‘Wake up, Arezou’ has entered the domestic home entertainment market.

Iranian film ‘Wake up, Arezou’ has entered the domestic home entertainment market after screenings at Iran theaters came to an end.

Directed by Kianoush Ayari, the popular movie was offered in the home entertainment along with publishing a video trailer.

‘Wake up, Arezou’ depicts Iranian city of Bam (in 2003) after it was hit by devastating earthquake which killed around 30,000 people and demolished many parts of Bam Citadel.

Moments after the earthquake, a young teacher in a village outside the town of Bam, scrambles from under the rubble and finds out that her colleagues have died in the quake.

She sets out for the town of Bam to get rescue aid for the villagers, but to her amazement, she discovers that the main tragedy has occurred there.

Behnaz Jafari, Mehran Rajabi, Mehdi Jafari, Mohammad-Hossein Akbari, Ehsan Rezvani, Sahar Salari, and Zeinab Zamani star in the movie.
