Iran ‘Wishbone’ to be screened at Depth Of Field filmfest, US

Iranian movie ‘Wishbone’ is to be screened at Depth Of Field International Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Ali Atshani, 'Wishbone' is to vie at the competition section of the fourth edition of the festival.

The cinematic work compares and contrasts the ups and downs experienced by a fired coach who met a girl with whom he had a relationship several years before.

The cast includes famous Iranian actor, Hossein Yari, and actress, Mitra Hajjar.

The goal of the Depth Of Field International Film Festival is to help the winners in this competition achieve recognition and distribution opportunities, the official website of the event wrote.

It is a web-based competition, instead of a traditional film festival: 100% of the effort and investment goes into finding a market for the films.

The event is to run on March 20-23, 2017 in the US.
