'Retouch' wins jury award at Santiago del Estero filmfest

Iranian short film 'Retouch' has won an award at the Santiago del Estero film festival in Argentina.

Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the film received the special jury award at the 2018 edition of the event.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

The film has so far participated in many international film festivals, winning several awards and nominations including the Best Fiction Short Film award at the 13th Traverse City Film Festival in the US.

Santiago del Estero Film Festival (SEFF), International Festival of Independent Cinema, is a competitive Festival, of international scope, of shorts and feature length films with a look and regional imprint.

The event was held on June 26-30, 2018 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
