Iranian actress Maral Farjad takes home an award from 2018 Love International Film Festival in the US.

Iranian actress Maral Farjad takes home an award from 2018 Love International Film Festival in the US.

Farjad has grabbed the best actress award in a supporting role for her role as a mother in Mehdi Fard-Qaderi's 'Immortality'.

To win the award, the actress competed with Meagan English in the movie 'In the Wake of Ire' and Jackie Nova in 'Art of Deception'.

Born in 1982, Maral Farjad is an Iranian actress.

She debuted her cinematic work with playing in Ebrahim Vahidzadeh's 'Wedding Dinner'.  Since then she has been in a number of films and TV series.

'Immortality', the movie that won her the award, tells the story of six different families on different wagons of the train, gradually unfolding their stories.

The mission of the Love International Film Festival is to bring focus on films and filmmakers from the international community whose works bring the world together and promote love and healing through cinema.

The festival was slated for July 4-7, 2018 in Los Angeles, US.
