Iran ‘House of Paper’ goes for home release

Iranian movie ‘House of Paper’ has been offered for domestic home release.

Directed by Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh, the movie is offered by “Golrang Resaneh” for domestic home market.

The cast list for ‘House of Paper’ includes Parviz Parastoui, Shaghayegh Farahani, Mahdi Pakdel, Tina Pakravan, Soraya Ghasemi and Alireza Kamali, among others.

A plot summary for the film partly reads, “A famous journalist who was out of job for a few years ... is living with his only daughter in Iran. She is also a journalist. Death of a writer returns an old love from abroad, making him write again.”

The film premiered at 35th edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

It also received the Audience Award from the London Film Festival in November 2017.
