Festival Internacional de Cine de Quito to host ‘Redhead’

Iranian drama ‘Redhead’ is scheduled to compete at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Quito in Ecuador.

Directed by Karim Lakzadeh, the film is to vie at the competition section.

‘Redhead’ was screened at Art and Experience cinemas in Iran.

The film features actors such as Behzad Dorani, Ali Bagheri, Soniya Sanjari and Leila Taher-Pasand.

‘Redhead’ narrates the story of a man who returns to his hometown after quite a long time.

The International Film Festival of Quito, according to the event’s website, aims to promote auteur cinema to a new generation. The festival was founded in 2016 by the Film School of UDLA University in Quito. It's a festival mainly organized by students and their professors.

The 2018 edition of the event will be held on 14-19 August 2018.
