'Prophet Joseph' star dealing with health issue

'Prophet Joseph' star Esmail Soltanian has a setback to deal with illness.

According to a Thursday press release, the actor has taken on fewer roles as of late partly due to his medical condition.

The actor revealed to the local media a second reason, noting the roles offered to him have not grabbed him as well.

Soltanian has played a good number of roles in movies and TV series.

Some of his works are known to ifilm viewers; the most memorable of all is his appearance in the series 'Prophet Joseph' as one of the temple monks.

He has also been on ifilm movie 'Chamran' directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia.

The actor won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for the movie 'The Cyclist' from the 7th Fajr Film Festival held in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
