‘The Green Ring’ actor turns director

Iranian actress Naseem Adabi co-starring in ifilm series ‘The Green Ring’ has turned to directing short films.

The actress has a short flick titled 'A Short Night' in the pipeline with shooting stage to kick off in late August.

Adabi won the best acting award at Fajr theater festival along with her impressive appearance on small and big screens.  

ifilm team already showed one of her works ‘The Green Ring’ series which is about Golbahar who is struggling to become a doctor in a strange city with no support of any kind. But things are about to get much more complicated.

She is the only one who can see Hassan, a brain dead patient’s soul, who is not sure if he wants his heart to be donated. She is willing to help him.

Adabi plays the role of a physician in training along with Sima Tirandaz who was a female lead in the series.
