Iran animated short film 'Butterfly' is to attend 2018 Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) in South Korea.
Directed by Maryam Khalilzadeh, the 13-minute flick is to screen at the Family Fest section of the event where 7 other films will be shown.
A brief synopsis of the flick reads, 'Legend has it that if through enchanted music a man is able to transform thousand one girls into butterflies; he himself will be able to fly. A man starts turning girls into butterflies. Then, at the one thousand and first, he falls in love with the very last case.'
The music of this short animation is composed by Pejman Khalili.
Launched in 2005, Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) strives to be both a celebration of film set in Jecheon City and exhilarating music shared and enjoyed by all generations and musical tastes.
The 14th edition of the event is slated for August 9-14, 2018.
