Iran film ‘Mothering’ offered for home release

Iranian film ‘Mothering’ has entered the domestic market of home entertainment.

Written and directed by Roqiyeh Tavakkoli, the movie has been offered for home release from last week.

The movie, produced by Siavash Haqiqi, stars Nazanin Bayati, Hanieh Tavassoli, Houman Seyyedi, Maryam Boubani, and Melissa Zakeri.

‘Mothering’ is about two sisters; one of them deserted her lover while in the case of the other girl, the scenario is the other way around.

The film was received well and found a place among the 5 high grossing titles of Iranian cinema only one week through its premiere.

‘Mothering’ was screened at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
