Iranian comedy ‘Vespiary’ arrives on home screens

Iranian comedy ‘Vespiary’ has been released for home viewing at the domestic market of the country.

Directed by Borzou Niknejad, the movie was released a few days ago in Iran.

Produced by Saeed Khani, ‘Vespiary’ is a comedy with a social theme which follows a pair of two-bit thieves who gets into a big adventure by collecting a box.

A poster released for the movie contains a tagline which reads, “Have you ever seen the left hand of a King's wife close to you?”

Among the cast are Pejman Jamshidi, Mohsen Kiaee, Bahareh Kian-Afshar and Houman Barqnavard.

One of the high-grossing films at 2018 Iran box office, the comedy director has announced that it is to have a sequel in a near future.
