Internationally celebrated Iran director Iman Davari's screenplay 'The Organon' is to vie at 2018 Oaxaca Filmfest in Mexico.
The script will be competing for Best Science-Fiction and Original Concept at Global Script Challenge section of the festival.
The film script starts with a brief narration of Prophet Moses's exodus. It opens with him fleeing from Pharaoh's men to save their lives and the Ark.
It then takes you back to present time and shows you a four-year-old girl named Mary who is sitting on the ground in their yard, looking up in the sky and drawing in her notebook.
Next, you see Mary has grown up into a twenty-year-old. She works at NASA investigating the source of the strange sounds heard recently.
Iman Davari, has so far attended several international events as a short film director.
His short film 'Silence' was recently scheduled to compete at Marietta International Film Festival in the US.
According to the event’s website, the Oaxaca FilmFest is dedicated to the advancement of outstanding achievement in cinema. It creates chances for filmmakers and script writers and provides audiences with amazing entertainment.
The 9th edition of the festival is slated for October 5-11, 2018 in the city of Oaxaca in Mexico.
