‘Scent of Joseph’ star Niki Karimi narrates on new series ‘Forbidden’ to release in Iran soon.
In the narration, the actress says:
Each time he leaves me is like Sunday-night blues
With an acrid taste as it is bittersweet
I want him to both stay and leave
Perhaps this makes it look nice!
The series directed by Amir Pour-Kian, will be available to home viewership in coming days.
‘Forbidden’ narrates the story of three generations living at the same time, facing social issues.
In the show, the actress joined the likes of Fatemeh Goudarzi, Amir-Hossein Arman, Bahareh Afshari, Pejman Bazeghi, Atila Pesyani, Amir Jafari, Hadi Hejazifar, Majid Mozaffari, and Leila Zare.
Karimi won the Crystal Simorgh awards at Fajr International Film Festival for ‘A Lunatic Fled the Cage’ and her performance in ‘Scent of Joseph’ was critically acclaimed. Both flicks have been aired by ifilm as weekend movies.
