National Festival of Youth Music to wrap up

The closing ceremony for the National Festival of Youth Music is to be held on Friday.

The 12th edition of the event is to wrap up today, Friday August 24, 2018 in Vahdat Hall in Tehran.

The festival was started on August 13 in Niavaran Cultural Center.

Over 500 solo and group performances in various genres were performed by the young musicians during the event – also called the Festival of Junior Music.

The festival was divided into various parts such as a traditional section, the latter of which will be moderated by veteran musician Hossein Alizadeh.

Musicians in the classical style as well as regional performances were also featured at the event.

The Iran Music Association was the main organizer of the 11th National Festival of Youth Music.
