Iran box office flick hits audience grab

Iran box office title 'The Lost Strait' has been well received by audience members in Iranian province of Fars.

According to a local media report, the flick grabbed cinema-goers in provincial capital city of Shiraz who opted for Bahram Tavakkoli's latest 'The Lost Strait’ among current box-office hits.

ifilm series star Mehdi Pakdel mostly famed for his role in 'Setayesh' also attended the public screening of the flick.

'The Lost Strait’ depicts Iranian combatants in an epic battle during the last days of Iraq imposed war on Iran.

The acclaimed movie grabbed Crystal Simorgh award for Best Director, Best Sound Recording, Best Make-Up, and Best Special Effects at the 36th Fajr Film Festival.

Cast members include Javad Ezzati, Amir Jadidi, Mehdi Pakdel, Ali Soleimani, Mehdi Qorbani and Hamid-Reza Azarang.
