Iran title 'The Lost Strait' crosses 2 billion

Iran title 'The Lost Strait' by Bahram Tavakkoli has crossed 2 billion Rials at Iran 2018 box office.

Tavakkoli's latest offering made it to top movie hits after only two weeks of screening.

'The Lost Strait' is reportedly well received by audience members across the country.

The Iranian epic drama succeeded to win Crystal Simorgh award for Best Director, Best Sound Recording, Best Make-Up, and Best Special Effects at the 36th Fajr Film Festival.

The flick's cast members include Javad Ezzati, Amir Jadidi, Mehdi Pakdel, Ali Soleimani, Mehdi Qorbani and Hamid-Reza Azarang.
