Iran female artist to narrate for Ukrainians, Iranians

Iranian artist Bahareh Jahandoust is to perform Persian dramatic narration for Ukrainian audience members in Iran.

Fereshteh Art Gallery in Tehran will host a Sunday artistic performance by Jahandoust who is quite a talent in UNESCO-inscribed "Naqqali" or Persian dramatic storytelling.

The female artist starting her stage career from the age of seven has already performed in several countries such as China, France and Italy.  

Naqqali is deeply rooted in Iranian history with the performers of such art recounting stories in verse or prose accompanied by gestures and movements.

The Ukrainian audience members along with some Iranians will be seeing the performance which falls under a program titled “Iran-Ukraine Cultural Dialogue Days.”

Commencing in August, the scheduled events for the cultural program wraps up on September 2, 2018.
