‘The Redtails’ director talks to ifilm about the features a successful comedy must have

‘The Redtails’ director Arash Moayerian has participated in an ifilm exclusive program to talk about different aspects of the flick’s success as comedy.

Studies on Iran box office shows that Iranian cinemagoers tend to spend money to laugh in the cinema theaters.

Statistics show that comedies have captured the attention of people in Iran and producing films in this genre is so profitable.

 ‘The Redtails’ is still shining at the box office chart after four weeks of screening.

 Arash Moayerian, the director of the flick, believes that the standard features of the screenplay, casting, use of suggestions made by the producer, the screenwriter and the film crew are among the factors which lead to the film’s success.
