'Sheeple' to appear on Iran silver screen

'Sheeple' is slated to appear on silver screen after 'Behind the Wall of Silence'.

Directed by Houman Seyyedi, the film will soon screen in Iranian cinemas, replacing 'Behind the Masoud Jafari-Jozani’s offering currently on the silver screen.

'Sheeple' took part at competition section of the 36th edition of Fajr Film Festival and won 4 awards (Crystal Simorgh) for Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Sound Mixing, Audience Choice Award and Best Film in 'Art and Experience' section.

“Two brothers are running and making dangerous drug crystal methamphetamine in a hidden laboratory … and they do care for the honor of their neighborhood. All of a sudden mobile footage of their sister is spreading everywhere and this causes some strange incidents,” a short synopsis of the flick reads.
