We match the voices with dolls faces: director

‘Auntie Frog’ director Afshin Hashemi has explained about his criteria in selecting the voice actors, leading to the success of the musical.

In an ifilm exclusive report, ‘Auntie Frog’ director Afshin Hashemi has explained about his criteria in selecting the voice actors, leading to the success of the musical.

According to Mr. Hashemi, what is happening in the movie is the acting of the dolls on a decorated scene instead of real thespians before the camera. Based on his explanations, the voice of the voice actors who were to talk in the musical had to match the dolls.

In fact, voice actors are the cast of the musical. Who fits for what role with regard to the voice which fits for the doll’s face gains top priority in such movies.

He believes that dubbing is a very sensitive issue in the process of film making and in many cases the success or the failure of a film in the box office depends on that.

‘Auntie Frog’ is still shining at the box office chart after 10 weeks of screening. Both kids and adults show intention to attend the cinema theaters which screen this musical.
