Things you didn’t know about ‘Iran Trotter’

The Iran Trotter host Javad Qaraei has in interviews with local media outlets, made so many interesting tips about the show and himself, in response to journalistic questions.

Here’s part 12 of his comments, in which you will read about the narrative, with excerpts from the Q/A made with the host.

Q: one of the strengths of the documentary series is having you as the narrator, which has made the program a more attractive one compared to other Iranian documentaries, and the audience has better been able to identify with it. Whose idea was to have you as the narrator, and why didn’t you stick to the common cliché of hiring dubbing masters and radio narrators to do the job?

A: there’s surely a lot of difference between the ‘Iran Trotter’ and the other domestically produced narrative series.

Interviewer’s notes: For the audience information, Javad Qaraei is himself the narrator, who has got a good understanding of the culture and traditions of various Iranian ethnicities. He has also got the hangs of the ecotourism industry, and knows the business by the ropes. Furthermore, he is knowledgeable about the history and local architecture of different parts of Iran, besides being a hardworking and enthusiastic person. Actually, he openly welcomes difficulties of work, and tolerates them. Moreover, he easily communicates effectively and positively with people from different ethnicities. Using the existing decoupage, and the prior knowledge he has, besides being the producer and director himself, has made the development of the narrative a success.
