Iran short film ‘Gray Umbrella’ has succeeded to receive Best Experimental Film Award at the 1st edition of Nova Frontier Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Mohmmad Poustindouz, the flick won Best Experimental Film Award from the American film event.
Based on a loose adaptation of a short story by Argentinean writer Fernando Sorrentino, called ‘There's a Man in the Habit of Hitting me on the Head with an Umbrella’, the ‘Gray Umbrella’ is the story of a man with a bad habit, until a man with an umbrella enters his life.
Nova Frontier Film Festival and Lab is a timely narrative, documentary and experimental Film Festival committed to showcasing the works of filmmakers and artists from and about the African diasporas, Middle East, Latin America, and Caribbean.
The 2018 edition of the event was held on September, 7-9, 2018, in Brooklin, the US.
