Shooting stage for ‘Midday Adventures’ sequel kicks off

The shooting for Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian’s movie 'Midday Adventures: Trace of Blood' has been started.

Produced by Seyyed Mahmoud Razavi, the shooting for the film has kicked off on September 10, 2018.

Directed by Mohammad-Hoosein Mahdavian, 'Trace of Blood' is a sequel to award-winning movie 'Midday Adventures'.

Co-written by Hossein Torab-Nezhad and Ebrahim Amini, the sequel will be made in political genre.

‘Midday Adventures’, a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocities of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s, was crowned best at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in 2017.

It also bagged 4 other Simorgh awards, namely the Audience Favorite Film, Best Scenic Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Film with National View.
