Ojai filmfest to screen Iranian 'Balance'

Iranian animation 'Balance' has been set to go on the silver screen at the 19th edition of the Ojai Film Festival in the US.

Receiving a special mention certificate for the best direction at the 2018 edition of the LakeCity International Film Festival in India and the award for best art movie at the 2018 edition of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the animation is to represent Iran at the American film event.

The short animation has so far succeeded to take part at the Redline International Film Festival in Canada and the Adrian International Film Festival in the US. 

'Balance' is an animated story about the soldiers who sacrifice their lives so that the people of the city may live in peace.

The Ojai Film Festival showcases the special character and spirit of Ojai, with its rich history from the Chumash Indians to famous gurus. Spiritual teachers and Hollywood celebrities have been drawn to the beauty of Ojai, making the Ojai Film Festival a perfect setting for bringing filmmakers together to celebrate their talents and inspire creativity.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for November 1-11, 2018.
