'Until Being with Sorayya’ star appears in Turkmen series

Azita Hajian starring in ifilm ‘Until Being with Sorayya’ has appeared in new series on Iranian Turkmen.

‘Game of Masks’ at the helm of Sirous Hassanpour is a new product of Iran local channels run by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

Star of ifilm series ‘Until Being with Sorayya’ as well as Mahsa Hashemi, Leila Barkhordari, Mina Norouzi and Sima Khezrabadi are some of the female actors in the series.

Iranian vocalist Salar Aghili has done the credits song of the series which reads as follows:

What should I say, it is all visible with no words

The grief of heart is not just little

Hassanpour’s series follows the story of two ethnic Turkmen families from different clans at odds with one another. After many years of conflict they decide to reconcile with two youths from both families going to get married.   

Iranian Turkmen are an ethnic minority in Iran, residing mainly in northern and northeastern of Iran.
