Italian filmfest has bestowed best animation award to Iran animated piece ‘Junk Girl’.
Co-directed by Shalale Kheiri and Mohammad Zare, ‘Junk Girl’ succeeded to grab Best Animation Film award at the 2nd Milan int'l film festival in Italy.
'Junk Girl’ follows a doll girl made of junk being mistreated by others and forced to leave her city.
The 15-minute animation has so far gone on winning awards from multiple film festivals around the world, including 2018 Lebanese Independent Filmfest, Best Social Short Film award at Solidando Film Festival 2016 in Italy and 2017 Atlas & Aeris Int'l Film Festival in the US.
The second round of the event was held on September 8-16, 2018 in Italian metropolis Milan.
