Iran short 'Retouch' bags awards in Ukraine

Iran short film 'Retouch' by Kaveh Mazaheri has won awards at 2018 Wiz-Art International Short Film Festival in Ukraine.

The film has received the audience choice Best Screenplay and Best Film awards from the film event.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

Mohammad-Hossein Ziksari, Hana Fouladi-Fard, Azadeh Abadpour, Siamak Farsi, Negin Ahmadi and Shirin Harati are the cast members of the flick.

'Retouch' has so far attended several international events and succeeded to bag several awards including the Silver Dragon for the best short feature film at the 57th Krakow Film Festival in Poland.

Receiving the Best Film award from the 4th edition of the Veracruz Film Festival in Mexico has been one of the latest achievements for the award-winning film.

Wiz-Art International Short Film Festival is an annual film event which takes place in Lviv, Ukraine.
