Iranian feature ‘Supine’ by Shahram Asadzadeh has been accepted to vie at the 2018 edition of the One Take Film Festival in Croatia.
The Iranian film is scheduled to be screened on Sunday, October 21st, at 18:00.
Produced by Ali Yavar, 'Supine' will compete for Grand Prix award to be presented to the best film in the Main Program section.
The flick is a narration of the social impacts of drug abuse on the drug user and people surrounding.
“Shahrokh has consistent difficulty recognizing the real world and his illusions at some point in his life. This causes irreparable damages both to him and to the people around him,” a short plot for the movie reads.
Mehdi Mahani, Sara Khoiniha, Nader Fallah, Nasim Adabi, Shahed Ahmadlou and Seyyed-Ali Salehi teamed up to make the cast members.
The International Festival of Films Shot in One Take is a global showcase of films shot in one take. It includes films of nearly all genres (documentary, fiction, experimental, music video and corporate), regardless of their length.
The 9th edition of the festival is to be held on October 19–21 in Croatia’s capital of Zagreb.
