Norway to review titles by Mani Haqiqi

The 28th edition of Films from the South Festival (FFSF) in Norway is scheduled to review titles by Iran filmmaker Mani Haqiqi.  

The “Director’s Special Portrait” section of the festival is dedicated to review three of the latest cinematic debuts by Iran filmmaker Mani Haqigi.

‘Modest Reception’(2012), ‘A Dragon Arrives!’ (2016) and ‘Pig’ (2018) are set to be screened and reviewed at the Norwegian screening event.  

The titles have been contenders at the 68th edition Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.

A batch of 80 films from Asia, Africa and Latin America will be also screened throughout the course of 11 days.

The main prize, Silver Mirror Award, will be given to the best film in the main competition program.

The Films from the South Festival (FFSF), founded in 1991 is the biggest festival in Northern Europe within it`s niche.

The event is to be held on November 8-18, 2018 in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
