Online footage has been going viral showing Iran superstar Mohammad-Reza Golzar distributing Nazri food for Arba’een.   

A huge number of fans lined up hours before the event began to take Nazri (votive food offerings) from the hands of their beloved superstar.

The religious act of ‘Nazri’ remains one of Iran’s widely held and respected food-donating traditions during the holy month of Muharram.

People cook food and then freely offer prepared dishes to eagerly waiting patrons as a symbol of sincerity to Imam Hussein (AS).
