Indian film to be featured in Resistance Festival

Indian action thriller, 'Tiger is Alive', is set to take part in the 15th annual Resistance International Film Festival in Iran.

Bollywood's anti-Daesh action thriller, 'Tiger is Alive', is set to take part in the 15th annual Resistance International Film Festival in Iran.

'Tiger Zinda Hai' or 'Tiger is Alive', directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is a 2017 film based on the 2014 abduction of Indian and Pakistani nurses by Daesh.

The story is about a hero couple by the name of Tiger portrayed by Salman Khan and Zoya the role acted by Katrina Kaif, who after spending years living a low-key life, are called back into action when a new enemy emerges. With Daesh taking a group of nurses captive, the couple reappear in order to rescue the hostages from their terrorist captives.

The RIFF is being organized every year by the Revayat Cultural Foundation and the Film Association of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense in collaboration with other cultural organizations.

The 15th edition of the RIFF will be held on November 26-December 1, 2018, at Felestin Theater Hall in Tehran.
