Footage has been emerged showing the first appearance of Iran star Bahram Radan in a home market series.

‘Dance on the Glass’ by Mehdi Golestaneh is to be the first home market series in which superstar Bahram Radan has played a main role.

The footage has been released while the crew continues film shoot in the northern part of Iran.

So far, all the cast members have been playing their parts with Bahram Radan joining the team as the leading role recently.

‘Dance on the Glass’ is to be Radan’s first experience in a home series.

The project is one of the star-studded home market series producing and is said to appear successful in Iranian home entertainment market.  

The 26-episode series enjoys a professional cast team with names like Mahtab Keramati, Amir Aqaei, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Mitra Hajjar, Hamed Komeili, Sahar Qoreyshi, Bita Farrahi, Hmayoun Ershadi, and Setareh Eskandari, Hoda Zeinolabedin and Tarlan Parvaneh.

Other prominent casts will soon join the team concurrent with publishing the screenplay for the next episodes.

‘Dance on the Glass’ team plans to introduce young talented actors to Iran's cinema.

Penned by Tala Motazedihe, the series bears a romantic and social theme.  

Radan has starred in many movies and has become a popular household name and is often referred to as one of the top five superstars of Iranian cinema.

Bahram Radan was nominated for the fifth Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role by performing in ‘Swan Song’ (2000).

He also gained an award for the Best Actor in a Leading role for his performance in ‘The Killer’ (2009) at India’s Ladakh International Film Festival.

He won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor for starring in ‘Candle in the Wind’ (2003) and ‘Santouri’ (2006).
