Iranian producer Mohammad Khazaei has announced that the screenplay for a movie about the life of Lady Khadija (SA), the wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is scheduled to be ready by the end of the year.
According to Khazaei, the screenplay is still under development with veteran filmmaker Davoud Mir-Baqeri working on the project. The first synopsis has been presented, and despite some delays due to Mir-Baqeri's health, the screenplay will most likely be ready by the end of the year.
Khazaei further stated that due to the volume of the project, and the crew's intention to cover Lady Khadija's (SA) life from the time of her marriage until her demise, the director and production details will be determined upon completion of the screenplay.
In his finishing statements, the renowned producer spoke about the "long historical process" involved in the film, while revealing that the birth of Lady Khadija (SA) and the night of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) journey, or Miraj, will be covered. He also disclosed that other important topics are at the top of the agenda which will be planned for when the screenplay has been completed.
