Iran actress to perform in theater play

Iran actress Fatemeh Motamed-Arya is to star in a new theater production by Hamid Reza Azarang.

Iran well-known actress Fatemeh Motamed-Arya is set to star in a new theater production directed and written by Hamid Reza Azarang.

The play titled ‘Memory Sealed Freshness’ will be staged at Iranshahr Theater Center in the Iranian capital city of Tehran with ‘The Chef’ series leading actress in the cast.

‘Memory Sealed Freshness’ was run in 2009 for the first time by Nima Dehghan as the director and Hamid Reza Azarang as the actor.

The play is scheduled to go on stage by the end of December.

‘Memory Sealed Freshness’ is about a soldier named Yousef who is in coma. He has lost everything but his eyes and his heart. An angel is responsible to bring his living soul down from the Purgatory to the living world of humans. The play deals with the families of martyrs and the difficulties faced with them.

Fatemeh Motamed-Arya is a graduate of the Tehran Art Academy.

Motamed-Arya is a household name to ifilm spectators for movies like ‘Joke’, ‘The Pastry Girl’, ‘The Wrong Guy’, ‘Spouse’, ‘Dear, I’m in no Mood’ and the recently aired series ‘The Chef’.
