Iran doc 'Marjan's Dream' unveils trailer

Iranian documentary 'Marjan's Dream', which has been screening at the 15th edition of the Resistance International Film Festival (RIFF), has unveiled trailer.

Co-directed by Hamid Mashayekhi and Mohsen Eslamzadeh, the documentary is about Marjan Nazqalich, the first female governor of Bandar Torkaman (port city of Torkaman ), who was martyred in 2015 tragedy of Mina stampede in Saudi Arabia.

The film launched production stage last year in Bandar Torkaman and it is now ready for screening after finishing the voice editing stage.

The RIFF is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.

It also puts a spotlight on the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime, Daesh and their terrorist attacks in the region, and the world’s tyrants and their backing of Daesh.

The RIFF is being organized every year by the Revayat Cultural Foundation and the Film Association of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense in collaboration with other cultural organizations.

The 15th edition of the RIFF kicked off on November 26 and is set to end on December 1, 2018, at Felestin Theater Hall in Tehran.
