Iranian short film, ‘Limit’ directed by Javad Daraei, is heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to compete at the 9th Brazil Cinefest International Film Festival.
The 8-minute short film is the story of a man in a quiet neighborhood who asks people for help until someone enters his home.
Daraei’s film, shot in the Iranian province of Alborz, is a creative depiction of the struggles disabled people face on a daily basis.
‘Limit’ has been screened in many countries around the world including Italy, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Norway, Russia, the US, and the UK. The film has received multiple awards and recognitions, namely Best Foreign Short Film, Best Picture, Best Fiction and Best Drama at US, UK, and Russian festivals.
The Brazil Cinefest International Film Festival will be held from December 11-13, 2018 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The festival aims to honor talented filmmakers from around the world from industry veterans to industry newcomers.
