Iranian cineastes judging at All Lights festival

Three Iranian cineastes have joined jury panels at the All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF).

Actor Amir Aqaee as well as film director and producer Hassan Nazer are judging at the jury panel for the Debut Film Makers Competition.

Actress Rana Azadivar is judging the films screening in the Feature Films and Student Short Films Competition.

The other members of different jury panels include Korean director Soo Sung Lee, Indian cinematographer Ajayan Vincent, Russian producer Nadezhda Gorshkova, Sri Lankan cinematographer Dhanushka Gunathilake and French actress Marianne Borgo.

The 2018 ALIIFF pays tribute to the late-great Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami by screening his films ‘Taste of Cherry’, ‘The Wind Will Carry Us’ and ‘Certified Copy’.

The 2018 edition of the ALIIFF has been slated for December 1-4 in Hyderabad, India.
