Iran comedy ‘Texas’ goes to homes

Iranian comedy feature film ‘Texas’ has entered the domestic home screen market.

Directed by Masoud Atyabi, the home screen adapted version of the film was released by Tasvir Gostar Pasargad Company on Monday December 03, 2018.

‘Texas’ was premiered in Iranian cinemas in April 2018 and was able to rank among the bestsellers of Iranian box office.

The story of this comedy is about two friends, Sasan and Bahram. Sasan lives in Brazil and Bahram has the dream of living in that country too.

To make his dream come true, Bahram decides to adopt a Brazilian kid so that he will be able to move there. The money transfer for accomplishing the mission must be done through Sasan and that is where it all begins.

“Never threaten an Iranian, even in Texas,” a tagline from the flick says.

Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani and Hamid Farrokhnejad star in the movie.
