Iran feature ‘Amir’ has succeeded to grab Best Film Award from the 4th edition of All Lights International Film Festival in India.
Directed by Nima Eghlima, ‘Amir’ attended the competition section of the Indian film event and succeeded to grab the Best Film Award of the festival.
Some of the cast members of the flick are Milad Keymaram, Hadi Kazemi, Vahid Manafi, Mona Qasemi and Sahar Dolatshahi.
'Amir' is a social drama about contemporary Iran; about a generation whose private lives are determined more by the rules of society than by their own will.
A brief synopsis of the film reads, 'Amir goes to pick his friend Ali from the airport, where he finds out that Ali's ex-wife, Ghazal has taken her son Ardalan with her illegally and most probably will emigrate soon. Despite all his personal problems, Amir takes Ali to his office to help him find his ex-wife and son.'
All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) aims at providing a unique platform for global film industry to portray excellence in film making, aids to inspire, nurture and integrate the Indian Cinema industry thereby facilitating congregation of people and nations.
The fourth edition of the film festival was held on December 1-4, 2018.
