Iranian movie ‘Istanbul Junction’ has hit the domestic home market of entertainment last week.
Directed by Mostafa Kiaee, the flick is themed on a tragic collapse of high-rise landmark building Plasco in Tehran which occurred in January 2017, killing several people including brave firefighters in Iran.
The fire, explosion, and collapse incident was a national tragedy for Iranians.
The film shows a number of people who have somehow been related to the building and some who tried to abuse the situation.
‘Istanbul Junction’ went on theatrical release in the Iranian movie theaters from May 2, 2018.
The flick costars some popular Iranian actors, including Bahram Radan, Mohsen Kiaee, Sahar Dowlatshahi, Mahour Alvand, Rana Azadivar, Masoud Keramati, Babak Behshad and Mehdi Pakdel.
The film went on European tour in Germany, Norway and Sweden in August 2018.
