Iran musician Peyman Yazdanian has been contracted to make soundtrack for new feature film ‘The Fish and the Pond’.
Directed by Ali Barati and wrapping up editing stage recently, the film has launched the sound mixing stage and doing so it has taken on Alireza Alavian as the sound engineer and Peyman Yazdanian to write the soundtrack for the title.
Born in 1968, Yazdanian is an Iranian musician and pianist. He has been a prolific composer and has worked with several big names in filmmaking industry such as late Abbas Kiarostami and Kamal Tabrizi.
He has made music pieces for some award-winning movies, including Mani Haghighi’s ‘Pig’ and ‘No Date, No Signature’ by Vahid Jalilvand.
‘The Fish and the Pond’ portrays three phases of a scientist's life - childhood, adolescence and adulthood. He faces several challenges while inventing things which cause troubles for his family.
Saeed Aqakhani, Behnaz Jafari, Mir-Taher Mazloumi and Alireza Ostadi are among the cast members of the flick.
