Iran film editor Mastaneh Mohajer collaborates with Afghan cinema

Iran film editor Mastaneh Mohajer edits Afghan movie ‘Eve, Mariam, Ayesha’.

Iranian film editor Mastaneh Mohajer has collaborated with Afghanistan cinema on a new movie project titled ‘Eve, Mariam, Ayesha’.

Directed by Sahra Karimi, the new flick that has Iranian editor and producer on board has recently wrapped up the editing stage.

In a media report, Mohajer said she has edited this flick that targets female audiences. She also stated that the movie was filmed entirely in Afghanistan.

Born in 1974, Mastaneh Mohajer started her cinematic journey as a film editor. She has so far edited a big number of TV series and feature films.

'Ceasefire', 'Canaan' and 'Amir' are among the well-received movies that she has edited.

Besides the prizes that she won from national festivals, Mohajer has received Best Picture award for producing 'Israfil' from the 3rd CineIran Festival in Canada.

The young Iranian talent is married to one of ifilm stars, Pejman Bazeghi, who ifilm viewers should remember from the series ‘Factor 8’ and ‘The Seamen’.
