‘The Net and the Fish’ crowns in Italy

Diamond film event in Italy has granted award to a short film from Iran.

‘The Net and the Fish’ directed by Ali Nikfar brought home award for Best Narrative Short from the first edition of Diamond Film Awards in Italy.

The plot summery to the 10-min film says, “‘The Net and the Fish’ is the story of all the little fish living deep down the sea whose dream is nothing but to go back to water.”

The short flick previously participated at the 5th International Green Film Festival and the 56th Persian Gulf Youth Cinema Film Festival; both held in Iran.

Diamond Film Awards mission is to promote films and to help filmmakers to improve their careers.

 The first edition of the event announced the winners on December 22, 2018.
