Int'l 100-sec filmfest receives over 630 titles

The 12th edition of the International 100-second Film Festival in Iran has received more than 630 entries so far.

The main theme and motto of the international section has focused on morality and lifestyle.

“100-sec Film is a new and suitable media for the novel tools with the ability to exceptionally influence the high-speed and obstreperous world today and can blatantly get some seconds of the hurried and impatient audience,” the festival’s website wrote.

The first 100-second Film Festival was held in 2002. Since the 6th edition of the festival, it has been hosted at an international level.

Brevity and scrutiny for ethical and humanitarian subjects differentiate this event from other short film festivals.

The submission deadline to this edition of the 100 is until January 20, 2019.

The 12th edition of the event is slated for March 2019.
