Iranian actor Reza Tavakkoli has undergone a heart surgery in Tehran, his son confirms.
“Thanks God the operation was successful,” Tavakkoli’s son, Amir, said on Wednesday.
He noted that his father was continuing his recovery in the intensive care, noting that he will resume playing his role in the new movie ‘Gando’ after his full recovery.
ifilm has recently aired the movie ‘Saint Mary’ which starred this great actor.
Tavakkoli was immersed in artistic activities in the air force where he participated in the drama center and made some educational and narrative documentaries.
In 1998, he directed the television series 'The Final Step'.
He was also the writer, director and producer of 'The Straw Dogs' (2014).
Tavakkoli has acted in television series such as 'The Men of Angelos' (1998), 'It Was an Angel' (2005), 'The Basement' (2006), and 'Worlds Apart' (2010).
'Youth' (1998), 'So Close, So Far Away' (2004), 'Bitter Sugar' (2008) and 'Twelve Chairs' (2011) are also among the movies that he has appeared in.
