‘Hanged’ short film wraps up production

Roqiyeh Tavakoli’s short film ‘Hanged’ has wrapped up production stage.

According to a media report, the director of the new short has said that she had made this latest work to attend national and international festivals.

A brief synopsis of the film reads, “Parvaneh is a forty-year-old girl who is always hungry.” 

Tavakoli is a young Iranian director who has recently made feature film titled ‘Mothering’ starring famous Iranian stars such as Nazanin Bayati, Hanieh Tavassoli, Houman Seyyedi and Maryam Boubani. The film has attended a number of national and international film festivals.

‘Hanged’ cast list includes Maryam Nikaeen, Fatemeh Mojibiyan, Mehdi Marashi, Shima Arabshahi, Fereshteh Sajjadieh and Dorsa Eshaghi.
