Kiarash Asadizadeh has withdrawn his latest film ‘48FM’ from the 37th Fajr Film Festival.
Also directed by Asadizadeh, the film registered to compete at the festival last week.
The reports say that the postproduction of the project took more than expected so the film will not be able to partake at the event.
A social-thriller, the movie is an eventful story about a radio show and the people sponsoring it, with a commentary on the film reading: “Certain events are beginning to unfold on 48FM”.
The films cast will be made up of Setareh Eskandari, Reza Behboudi, Shiva Ebrahimi, Setareh Pesyani, Amir Hanani, Nima Raeesi, Kazem Sayahi, Naval Sharifi, Hootan Shakiba, Majid Agha-Karimi, Banipal Shoomoon, Arezou Aali, Ali Foroutan, Masoumeh Ghasemipour, Elham Korda, Toofan Mehrdadian, Hessam Nourani, Diba Khatami, Borhaneh Rajabi, Milad Shajareh, Kaveh Abedin, Morteza Agha-Hosseini, and Sajjad Goudarzi.
Previous films directed by Kiarash Asadizadeh were ‘Acrid’ (2013) and ‘Gap’ (2015).
