‘Lady of the Mansion’ voted most watched series

In a recent poll, Iranian series ‘Lady of the Mansion’ directed by Azizollah Hamid Nezhad was voted most viewed series on Iranian television by a group of viewers.

‘Lady of the Mansion’ is a romantic drama set in 19th century Iran, during which the Qajar dynasty ruled over the country.

The 34-part series highlights many of the historical events that took place during that era, including the assassination of the monarch Naser al-Din Shah.

Pantea Panahiha, Maryam Momen, Alireza Shojanouri, Hesam Manzour, Andisheh Fooladvand, Ghazal Shakeri, and Hassan Alirezaei are among the film’s cast.

Produced by Majid Mowlaei, parts of the film were shot in Tehran along with the historical city of Kashan.
